The original animated TV series was adapted from a variety of popular Japanese series during the time, that had different titles compared to the Western Voltron. Back ot the Future is an American media franchise created by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, that quickly became a phenomenon with the release of the Back of the Future film in 1985. This science fiction franchise follows the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown as they travel back in time using a DeLorean time machine.
