Product Description
The Argus 303rd Marine team had been conducting long-term cleanups against coastal pirates. Moreover, with the disbanding of the Bucks Team, these events triggered a desperate counterattack by the pirates, which led to the formation of a United Pirate Coalition.
Faced with such a massive union and a new commanding system that only recently came into place, supporting forces were unable to arrive in time. At a commander’s meeting, Eos Destroyer commander Ula proposed a countermeasure that would prevent the suffering of heavy casualties. This involved creating a facade of a heavily defended coastline, which in reality, was a well-laid trap. They aimed to lure perpetrators and scatter them, defeating them one by one, while simultaneously stalling for the imminent arrival of reinforcements.
Based on Ula’s concept, engineers worked day and night to equip all multi-functional unmanned reconnaissance Phasmatodea URV4m with cannons, reconditioning them as self-propelled artillery and positioning them at regular bombardment points as decoys. Meanwhile, an array of Laurel units were modified, primed for an ambush and ready to engage in a wave of close combat. Behind this crucial victory was a fleet of Laurel units that bore a striking resemblance to the image of pirates. This later paved the way for the mass production of the prototype – the Ioannis laurel LA6m.
