Although Jerry is usually minding his business, he's always ready for whatever Tom throws his way. His quick wit has not only saved him on multiple occasions, but even helped get Tom out of precarious situations too. Tom and Jerry were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and first debuted in 1940.
