Originally released in 2019 as a garage kit by the Yuji Sakai Sculpting Studio, this masterpiece commemorated the transition from the Heisei to the Reiwa era as a Heisei Memorial piece. Now reimagined as a fully-painted soft vinyl figure, the model retains the original sculpture from the garage kit while joining the acclaimed Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection.
As the name suggests, this figure captures the unforgettable climax of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995), faithfully recreating Godzilla’s defiant roar in its iconic final moments, bathed in dramatic backlight. Yuji Sakai brings Godzilla’s majestic stance to life, highlighting signature features such as the broad chest, powerful legs, and intense presence that dominated the film.
Having served as a sculptor on Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Sakai drew from his firsthand experience on set and an extensive archive of reference material to craft this strikingly authentic rendition of Godzilla (1995).
