Product Description
The FGM-148 Javelin is a man-portable anti-tank missile system developed in the USA, known for its advanced features and effectiveness in modern warfare.
Its most distinctive function, the "Shoot and Release" capability, allows the shooter to lock onto a target, fire the missile, and immediately retreat. This feature significantly improves the survivability of the shooter, a major upgrade over older anti-tank missiles that required continuous guidance until impact. The Javelin also boasts a "top attack mode", which targets thin top armor by launching missiles high, offering the power to destroy heavily armored tanks. Widely adopted by NATO countries, the Javelin has become a battle-tested and iconic symbol of modern military technology.
This 1/12 scale model kit offers a precise reproduction of the powerful FGM-148 Javelin missile system. The kit allows you to replicate the firing sequence by attaching and detaching the sights and muzzle covers, adding a dynamic element to the display. Additionally, a new tripod part is included, enabling you to transform the model into a fixed artillery setup. For an even more realistic finish, decals are provided to enhance the model’s details. This product offers both display and action features, making it an exciting addition to any collection.
