Product Description
From the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, Fake Godzilla joins the Toho Daikaiju Series! Emerging from a rock that came hurtling out of Mount Fuji’s crater, "Godzilla" suddenly appears and engages in battle with Anguirus. Though it easily overpowers its opponent, the fierce clash leaves "Godzilla" with a wound on its right arm—revealing an unfamiliar metallic surface beneath its skin.
Later, the creature reappears at an oil refinery, only to be confronted by another Godzilla, thus beginning the unprecedented showdown: Godzilla vs. Godzilla. As the battle intensifies, more and more metal begins to show beneath its damaged skin. And then, at last, the truth is revealed—the impostor is no mere Godzilla, but Mechagodzilla, a full-body mechanical weapon clad in alien metal!
The Toho Daikaiju Series faithfully captures the eerie and deceptive presence of Fake Godzilla in stunning detail. From the shape of its head to the bulging fins on its back and even the uncanny way its fingers stretch—hinting at its true mechanical nature—this figure masterfully differentiates itself from the real Godzilla. One of Fake Godzilla’s most defining traits is the metal lurking beneath its skin.
The figure includes attachable cover pieces, allowing collectors to recreate multiple iconic moments: the fully disguised Fake Godzilla with no exposed metal, the battle-damaged right arm from its fight with Anguirus, and further battle damage, revealing even more metal during its showdown with Godzilla.
With these interchangeable parts, you can relive the dramatic transformation of Fake Godzilla in your own collection!
