In the mid-1960s…a most unusual game was invented. It used a giant floor mat for a game board and used real people as playing pieces.Initially dubbed, "The Pretzel", the inventor brought the prototype to the Milton Bradley Company where it was renamed Twister.
Then came the big twist…In 1966, the host of a late-night show and a famous actress played the game on air. The sight of the two entwined and entangled, sent the audience into hysterics and Americans rushing to the stores to buy their own Twister game.
Now you can take a step back in time! Shake off your shoes! Spread out your polka-dot Twister mat and smell the vinyl! Then grab a partner and get twisted – all over again!
