Limited to just 100 sets, this numbered edition Light Man and Bubble Head Concept Maquette Replica 2-pack is part of their Star Wars™ Archive Collection, a continuation and expansion of their work creating authentic replicas with impeccable lineage.
Concept maquettes have been used to craft the look of Star Wars™ since the first production in the saga. For Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, creature shop head, Phil Tippett leaned into the use of these small sculptures to develop the collection of creatures for Jabba the Hutt's palace.
In Regal Robot's work researching and documenting these original artifacts, they've marveled at designs that never made it to the final film. They've long wanted to offer replicas of some of those imaginative designs and the company is excited to give collectors the chance to bring home two of those creatures with this incredibly unique and deep-cut pair of maquette replica aliens!
With hands-on access to the original film artifacts and high resolution 3D scanning, the team has crafted authentic recreations of the original concept sculptures for these two characters.
At approximately 6″ (Bubble Head) and 8″ tall (Light Man) including the wood display bases, each solid resin maquette is 100% made in the U.S.A. and is meticulously hand painted by the artists in their New York studio, making each a unique tribute to the artistry involved behind the scenes of their favorite films!
Each pair in this numbered edition includes two hand-numbered metal plaques and a COA.
